TUFFkushion® is a midsole system developed by Wellco. This is a feature on majority of present
generation military boots. This process is a polyurethane midsole with a high traction rubber
tread sole. This can all be traced to a development contract awarded to Wellco by US Army Natick
Laboratories. Wellco's TUFFkushion® soling system not only provides a lightweight product, but
also provides a running shoe feel.
